National Hazing Prevention Week 2023
- Monday, September 25th:
- Hazing Prevention Passport Event: Join us in the Student Union 21st Mortgage Plaza from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm to participate in a passport event where there will be different activities, giveaways, and food to learn more about identifying, acting on, and preventing hazing at UTK.
- Tuesday, September 26th:
- Hazing Prevention Week Tabling Event: Join us on Pedestrian Walkway from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm where we will have giveaways and resources related to identifying, acting on, and preventing hazing at UTK.
- Hazing Prevention Lunch & Learn for Staff & Faculty: Staff and faculty are invited to join the Hazing Prevention Team for a Lunch & Learn from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm in Student Union Room room 169 to learn more about identifying, acting on, and preventing hazing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Please RSVP to attend this program.
- Wednesday, September 27th:
- VolsACT Day: The Hazing Prevention Team will be joining the Center for Health Education & Wellness for VolsACT Day where students can learn more about being an active bystander, and keeping themselves and their fellow Vols safe. This event will take place from 11:00am – 1:00pm in HSS Lawn.
- Thursday, September 28th:
- Hazing Prevention Week Tabling Event: Join us on Pedestrian Walkway from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm where we will have giveaways and resources related to identifying, acting on, and preventing hazing at UTK.
- Hazing Prevention Training for Student Leaders: Student leaders from organizations across campus are invited to join the Hazing Prevention Team for a Lunch & Learn from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm in Student Union Room room 169. Here, student leaders will have the opportunity to learn more about one another’s organizations and discuss healthy joining practices. Please RSVP to attend this program.
- Friday, September 29th:
- Hazing Prevention Week Banner Hanging: The banner that was signed by the students that attended events throughout the week will be hung on the Student Union!
