National Hazing Prevention Week 2024
- Monday, September 23rd:
- Milkshake Monday: Join us in our partnership with the Dean of Students office at 12pm in the Student Union 21st Mortgage Plaza to kick off National Hazing Prevention Week with a milkshake and some giveaways!
- Tuesday, September 24th:
- Hazing Prevention Week Tabling Event: Join us at Rocky Top Dining Hall from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm where we will have giveaways and resources related to identifying, acting on, and preventing hazing at UTK.
- Center for Student Engagement Trivia Night: Join CSE and the Hazing Prevention Team in Student Union 272B/C at 7pm to engage in an evening of Trivia with giveaways from the Hazing Prevention Team and surprise bonus questions throughout!
- Wednesday, September 25th:
- Hazing Prevention Passport Event: Join us in the Student Union 21st Mortgage Plaza from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm to participate in a passport event where there will be different activities, giveaways, and food to learn more about identifying, acting on, and preventing hazing at UTK.
- Thursday, September 26th:
- Hazing Prevention Week Tabling Event: Join us at Stokely Dining Hall from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm where we will have giveaways and resources related to identifying, acting on, and preventing hazing at UTK.
- Hazing Prevention Certificate Training: Staff & Faculty from across campus are invited to join the Hazing Prevention Team for a Hazing Prevention Certificate Training from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm in Student Union Room room 377A (Executive Dining Room). Here, staff and faculty will have the unique opportunity to complete the Hazing Prevention Team’s inaugural Certificate Training where you will gain resources surrounding identifying, acting on, and prevention hazing at UT. Lunch and giveaways will be provided. Please RSVP to attend this program.
- Friday, September 27th:
- Hazing Prevention Week Banner Hanging: The banner that was signed by the students that attended events throughout the week will be hung on the Student Union!
